The European Wind Integration Study (EWIS) is an initiative established by the TSO associations of the European transmission system operators in collaboration with the European Commission.
The scope of work covers all the technical, operational, market and regulatory aspects related to the integration of wind power in Europe at a large scale.
The project is directed by a project steering committee with primary study resources provided by the following transmission system operators:
